The DELight Collaboration

The DELight experiment harnesses the combined expertise of Heidelberg University (UHD), the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), and the University of Freiburg (UFR), bringing together complementary expertise on cryogenic superfluid helium, dark matter detection, microcalorimetry, background mitigation, electronics, computing as well as modern data analysis techniques. A joint work program will bring the experiment from design, to realization, to science results. The proximity of the three institutions facilitates strong collaboration between all members.

Diversity and equal opportunity are critical components of science, which is a highly collaborative endeavour. The DELight collaboration is committed to this principle and to the inclusion of all people and identities. All collaboration members are expected to foster an environment of respect and equitable treatment. As a part of DElight, all individuals deserve to feel welcome, respected, and nurtured.
